meet each other halfway; find the middle ground; come to terms; come to an understanding; make a deal; find a happy medium; strike a balance; give and take; split the difference
3) accept standards that are lower than is desirable

1) As Kingdom citizens, we must realize that there is no room for compromise when it comes to obeying the Word of God because God does not change His mind when He gives His Word.
(Malachi 3:6 AMP);“For I am the LORD, I do not change [but remain faithful to My covenant with you]; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, have not come to an end.
(Hebrews 13:8 AMP) Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever.

2) As Kingdom citizens, if we compromise on our standards, we lose our dependability because we are always subject to change based on situations.
(James 1:5 AMP) If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.
(James 1:6 AMP) But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind.
(James 1:7 AMP) For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord,
(James 1:8 AMP) Being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].

3) As Kingdom citizens, we are confident that once God’s gives His promise to us through His Word then we have the ability to achieve that promise because God does not compromise or change His mind.
(Philippians 3:13 AMP) Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
(Philippians 3:14 AMP) I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 3:15 AMP) All of us who are mature [pursuing spiritual perfection] should have this attitude. And if in any respect you have a different attitude, that too God will make clear to you.
(Philippians 3:16 AMP) Only let us stay true to what we have already attained.
