Kingdom Citizens Cannot Be Selective | Freedom & Deliverance | 12/3/2023 ) | Pastor Russell Miles

_____: Particular, demanding, discriminating, critical, discriminatory, fussy, choosy, picky

1) As Kingdom citizens, we cannot be selective about which parts of God’s Word we will follow, we have to apply all of God’s Word to our lives whether our _______ like it or not.
(2 Timothy 4:2 AMP) Preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching.
(2 Timothy 4:3 AMP) For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold.

2) As Kingdom citizens, we cannot be selective on when we will do ________. Doing right sometimes and wrong sometimes causes us to be ineffective in God’s Kingdom.
(Revelation 3:15 AMP) I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot.
(Revelation 3:16 AMP) So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust].

(James 1:8 AMPC) [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].

3) As Kingdom citizens, we cannot be selective on when we will be up or down __ based on circumstances, we have to choose to be “up” based on the fact everything happening to us has to end up in victory.
(2 Corinthians 4:16 AMP) Therefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day by day.
(2 Corinthians 4:17 AMP) For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]!
(2 Corinthians 4:18 AMP) So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.

4) As Kingdom citizens, we cannot be selective on who we will __________ based on how we are treated, we have to love everyone regardless of how we may be treated.
(Luke 6:32 AMP) If you [only] love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
(Luke 6:33 AMP) If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
(Luke 6:34 AMP) If you lend [money] to those from whom you expect to receive [it back], what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners expecting to receive back the same amount.
(Luke 6:35 AMP) But love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; for your reward will be great (rich, abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High; because He Himself is kind and gracious and good to the ungrateful and the wicked.
(Luke 6:36 AMP) Be merciful (responsive, compassionate, tender) just as your [heavenly] Father is merciful.
(Luke 6:37 AMP) “Do not judge [others self-righteously], and you will not be judged; do not condemn [others when you are guilty and unrepentant], and you will not be condemned [for your hypocrisy]; pardon [others when they truly repent and change], and you will be pardoned [when you truly repent and change].
(Luke 6:38 AMP) Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.”
